Associate Career Development Program

The company offers a curriculum of 10 classes every month, referred to as- Success Builder Course. These classes are held at Coldwell Banker University at the Regional Center located at: 15490 Ventura Blvd, Sherman Oaks, Ca. 91403. The normal fee in the amount of $395.00 is waived if the enrollee satisfactorily completes all of the classes in the learning module.

Starting Commission split to Associate is 60%.

In addition to Success Builder, newly hired agents are expected to work with a Mentor or office Development Director for their first two (2) closed real estate transaction sides – acting as either the “listing” and/or “selling” agent. Starting commission split for new agents is 60% to agent/ 40% to Broker. The Mentor or Training Director shall share 50% of the agent’s commission on the two (2) transactions sides – not to exceed the maximum of $20,000.00 from gross commissions less service fees, on the two (2) transactions. Any commissions earned in excess of the $20,000,

less any service fees, will be divided between Broker and Sales Associate.

Development Directors and Mentors are experienced real estate licensees who have been appointed by Broker and are experienced in assisting Sales Associates with their real estate activities.

For purposes of Agent Award Recognition and Commission Level thresholds, Sales Associate will receive credit for entire gross commission earned.

Connected-250At the branch office level, agents working with Steve Mathis will be introduced to “Quick Start- A Residential Sales Tutorial”, which will involve a weekly calendar of events and activities to generate leads and business! Agents will attend and participate in weekly:

  1. Weekly office sales meetings on Tuesdays at 3:30PM
  2. Broker’s Tuesday Preview (Caravan) 11AM-2PM Weekly
  3. A Weekly 1 hour “New Associate” workshop
  4. Registration with an online accountability software program called KDNA Knowledge Goal-Tracking and Business Planning (Optional)
  5. Completion of the certification coursework (8 classes) in the Success Builder™ curriculum at CB University in Sherman Oaks.
  6. Voluntary “floor time” and hosting “Open Houses” on weekends, when available.
  7. Registration in “Launch Coaching” program.
  8. Attend Sunday Open Houses if not hosting an Open House or showing properties to clients!

Agents will develop a business plan, a weekly calendar of activities and earn points according to the marketing, prospecting, and sales activities completed each week.
