This is a survey of what we have, where to find it, and how to think about how it can enhance and improve your career and your business growth! Come prepared to participate! No computers are needed for this class.

Technology Session 1: Local Presence/Global Reach: Profiles, relevant CB Websites, Social Media
In today’s world, having an online presence is critical to marketing yourself and developing your business. Coldwell Banker provides you with access to all the major real estate sites on which to house your profile and reach out to clients. This is a hands-on class designed to allow you to input your profile on the major websites and to understand the value of social media done right! You will leave the class with an online presence established!

Technology Session 2: Marketing Programs/Zipforms Templates/HomeBase
Coldwell Banker utilizes a number of computer/software to help you be more efficient in your marketing. This class will take you though those and help you set up any profiles needed. An extremely important class. Please bring your laptops and power cords.

Contracts: Listing Documents
This is required for all new agents and a must for agents who need a refresher! Writing an effective listing contract and using the Seller’s Transfer Disclosure Statement correctly is critical to an agent’s overall success in real estate. Your homework requires the writing of a listing contract and reviewing it with a manager or mentor.

Contracts: Residential Purchase Agreement
The Residential Purchase Agreement (RPA) is the central document agents must understand when representing buyers or sellers. This session is designed to help agents understand the use and language of the contract. Homework includes writing a contract and reviewing with a manager or mentor. New agents must also attend Contracts: Listing Documents

Facebook 1.0
Facebook 1.0 is a hands-on class designed to help agents set up their profiles, download contacts and create privacy settings on Facebook. This is an introductory class for those who want to begin their social networking marketing on Facebook or for those who have some knowledge but want to look at privacy issues and building their friends’ list. Space is limited.

Facebook 2.0
Facebook 2.0: Prerequisites: Attend Facebook 1.0 class and/or be a Facebook user for 60 days or more. This class will move quickly to help you create a Business Page and hear about a special, free Coldwell Banker landing page (valued between $350-$800). Also, learn how to install valuable aps and how to use Facebook advertising and Marketplace to target potential clients. (Class runs approximately 3 hours). Bring laptops and logins/power cords.

iPad for Realtors
Get on the road to being a mobile agent with your iPad! Have an iPad and want to use it for business but are confused about how to make it work for you? Learn some tricks and applications you can use on your IPAD to make it more business-friendly. Learn how to use ToolKitCMA and what some of the limitations are with this new, important device. Bring your iPad and come to 2 hours of interesting information.

Blogging for Realtors
A good blog can replace the need for a full website in some cases. Come learn what you need to know to be a real estate blogging specialist! Learn about terms such as RSS feed, Metadata, and Web Aggregator. Learn the difference between a personal blog and a business blog. You’ll explore blogging platforms pros and cons and learn the advantages of WordPress Blog in a Web 2.0 world. At the end you’ll set up a beginning plan and be ready to start. Blogging takes time, energy and authenticity but remember we are still governed by the Code of Ethics and good taste! Part of the Social Media Certification Program.

Enhanced Sales Skills for Buyers and Sellers
Don’t miss the chance to come participate in a lively and timely session on Enhanced Sales Skills. You will walk out the door with scripts and dialogues that work for sellers, buyers and at open houses. Learning a variety of ways to talk to sellers and buyers give you more flexibility in your presentations and makes you more confident in any situation. Practice is critical to your success.

Buyers Session 1: Initial Meetings with Buyers
To successfully work with buyers, it is important to understand them and the buying process. In this session, we role-play an effective buyer presentation including assessing needs and conducting a great buyer interview along with presenting services to buyers and committing them to working with you.

Buyers Session 2: Assisting Buyers with Decisions and Offers
In this session, we explore how to present the buyer presentation, how to set up and show property most effectively, how to deliver the home protection plan conversation for buyers and the introduction of HomeBase to buyers. Additionally, we discuss how to develop leads from an open house, write and negotiate an offer for buyers. Finally, we’ll explore the most common buyer objections and practice how to respond to them.

Seller Sessions 1:CB Positioning and Marketing Strategy with Sellers
In every real estate market positioning a seller’s home properly is the key to a happy seller and a dynamic agent. The CB Positioning and Marketing Strategy can win you listings at the right price and with sellers who understand the process. Come practice elements of a presentation to sellers and get ready to become a top listing agent!

Seller Sessions 2: Presenting to and Negotiating With Sellers
Worried you do not know what to say to sellers? Come to this sessionto learn to deliver the positioning and marketing strategy to the sellers for maximum effect. You will learn numerous dialogues that you can use today! You will learn to demonstrate Leadrouter and talk about HomeBase and you will become adept at the second part of Positioning your sellers for maximum showings and quick sales. Additionally, you will learn how to obtain a full brokerage fee. This is interactive and lively. Come ready to participate!

All listing and selling agents must provide professional presentations to be successful in real estate. Coldwell Banker offers all listing and selling presentation materials through CloudCMA. Agents have access to listing materials, buyer presentation materials and property flyers through CloudCMA. Accessible through the Marketing Portal or Agent Tools menu on, CloudCMA is a new, improved system for impressing sellers and buyers alike. It replaces ToolkitCMA and works on all popular browsers. The Coldwell Banker version has been customized to include numerous features not available on local MLS systems. Come learn how to use this important new tool!
